Wytherngate Press “Books, both true and imaginative, for the discerning reader”

Wytherngate Press was founded in 2003 with the publication of the highly successful Fitzwilliam Darcy, Gentleman trilogy by Pamela Aidan.

Our book contract pays authors 55% of the profit of each book from the start, after editing, production, and shipping costs, and allows authors to purchase as many, or as few, of their own titles as they desire at 10% above production costs plus shipping.

Authors are paid quarterly for the previous (not latest) quarter’s sales. Authors wishing Wytherngate Press to consider their work are advised that we only accept spell-checked, author-edited manuscripts in good order that meet our criteria outlined at the link below. Manuscripts accepted for publication will be edited at a fee of $25/hour.

Wytherngate Press assumes the expenses of title set-up, file conversion, interior design and cover design. We will also provide the author a personal author’s page at our website. At this time, marketing beyond the major online bookstores is the responsibility of the author, although if there is sufficient lead time, we will send review copies to 10 major reviewing sources of the author’s choosing. Flyers and postcards may be designed for a fee and sent via CD, or produced by the Press for an additional fee. Other marketing opportunities are available, but will be at the author's expense.
